Having seen some of the fused glass art work produced out of the kiln, I decided to also get involved and have attended a number of Carole's classes. I am studying Biology at University but I like to be creative too. I studied higher Art in school and particularly enjoyed the design aspect. I work more with copper-foil to produce glass pieces such as hangings and jewellery boxes. Making fused glass pieces to place as part of the design in the boxes is great fun as the results are never entirely predictable.

On a recent working holiday in Skye I found some sea-washed pieces of glass which have added a whole new dimension to my work.

I am also happy to work to commission.
